Product Description
Hazard Control Technologies, Inc offers two types of Concentrate Control Systems as well as individual tanks and components to enhance the fire protection of personnel and assets.
The purpose of the Concentrate Control System (CCS) is to accurately and reliably introduce HCT?s fire suppression agents into a sprinkler system or fixed pipe header. The two designs are the HCT Bladder Tank CCS and the HCT Balanced Pressure Pump CCS.
Bladder Tank CCS:
The HCT Bladder Tank CCS consists of a rubber bladder enclosed in a steel outer tank. The tank is piped to the water supply line and the bladder is filled with an HCT fire suppression agent. When the system is tripped, via deluge valve or water flow indicator, the pressure from the water supply line forces the fire suppression agent out of the bladder, through the appropriate piping, where it is introduced into the flow of water through the ratio controller. The ratio controller proportions the proper amount of agent into the fire protection system.
Specifications:
Balanced Pressure Pump CCS:
The HCT Balanced Pressure Pump CCS is powered by either a TEFC electric pump or an auto start diesel pump motor. Either is activated when a fire is detected by monitoring equipment or activated manually. The pump forces the fire protection agent through the appropriate piping and into the flow of water through the ratio controller. The ratio controller proportions the proper amount of agent into the fire protection system.
