Bladder Tank
Fire Suppression System

Bladder tanks are a critical component in fire suppression systems, operating similarly to a balanced pressure proportioning system. These pressure-rated vessels feature an internal bladder for F-500 EA® concentrate storage. Upon system activation, the incoming water pressure compresses the rubber bladder to deliver the concentrate to the device. These pressure tanks ensure consistent and reliable delivery of concentrate to mitigate fire hazards in industrial and commercial settings.

A BLADDER TANK ENABLES INDUSTRY LEADERS TO DELIVER F-500 EA® TO ANY FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Fire protection systems featuring a bladder pressure tank can be designed from scratch or retrofitted to any existing sprinkler or deluge water system. Our fire suppression system solutions are uniquely engineered to meet the specific hazard requirements of your team, and we have smaller tanks and larger options depending on your needs. They range in size from a 36-gallon tank (136 L) to larger tanks of 12,000 G (45,425 L). The entire tank maintains air pressure and water pressure, ensuring a consistent flow of the F-500 EA®. They should maintain a higher pressure than 75 PSI to work efficiently, and pressure switch settings are used to turn off the water pump when the right tank pressure is reached. Depending on the hazard at hand, F-500 Encapsulator Agent concentrate can be proportioned from 0.5% to 3%. F-500 EA® is noncorrosive and requires little maintenance.
